Not much of a reader !

Im not much of a reader but I had an experience today that was pretty neat. I came into class and started reading my book ( The Catcher In The Rye ) and ended up getting into it and when I looked up at the clock 45mins had past by. I have never been lost in a book like that before and thought I would share that on my blog. 

Reading assignment #5

Reading assignment #3 pt.2

I had a text to world connection in the catcher in the rye because of Holden's attitude towards everything, but I especially related to Holden's attitude towards school. I know of a bunch of people at my school flunking out like Holden and to me it seems they all act the same, they are all failing but act as if they know everything and that nothing is there fault. In the novel Holden always blames other people and the school as reasons why he is flunking out but really he is the reason. I know lots people in the same situation and they all seem to act the same as Holden, as if it's not their fault and that is the reason for this text to world connection.

The catcher in the rye (50).

I had a text to self connection when Holden would talk about how he hates and thinks so many people are phonies. I would never call someone a phoney because that sounds weird but I feel I have met and know a lot of people that act fake. It's very easy to tell as well like they won't act the same talking to you one on one as when you in a group of people, also when they talk it seems as though their body language doesn't match the way they are talking. I felt that was a way I connected to Holden

Thinking about dialogue (Jared and I).

1. Me and Colby went to the gym, followed a few people around up stairs and listened to some people in the power mech hallway. We listened the gym people for about 5 minutes, the people we followed upstairs for about 5 minutes also and the people in power mech hallway for a brief minute. The conversations were between 3 groups of different people we didn't know. It felt like we we shouldn't have been listening but at the same time it was funny. 

2. Some people like to use sound effects while talking, example "just whip the ball at him like whoosh" and when regarding a sock conversation you can see how boys who normally wouldn't care about it they would love to hear it from a girl. 

3. Creeping on people and hearing them talk helps expand your dialogue because not all people talk the same as you. 

4. Personality and character are revealed through conversation because most of the time you can judge how someone will speak by the way they look, but in some cases that is not true at all. 

5. The conversation becomes less intimate and becomes people trying to be more funny or show of rather than showing their feelings threw a personal one on one conversation 

6. There tends to be a leader/leaders in the conversation and everybody else seems to talk about what the leader is saying.

7. Texting people tend to let there feelings out more, maybe this is because they don't have to see the persons facial expression which could lead to them getting hurt. 

Imagery Quick Write

Another one gone, just added to all the others that have vanished since the world went under. There's not much you can do with everyone running out of oxygen. It's not about money, oil, or power anymore, that's just not how it works. It's a constant fight between groups of people to kill each other for that last little bit of oxygen. It's been awful dents we went under... Living in Colorado we were some of the last. My name is Ashton Courchene and for the last five days I've been stuck down here, my hands clammy, feet as well. The wetness is driving me crazy they said we wouldn't even feel it in these suits but they lied, they lied about everything..

Pirate Alien Shark Pig....

The Pirate Alien Shark Pig is by far the most terrifying thing to ever exist because it is unstopable and can kill anything. It talks like a pirate, well also yelping some oniks here and there .... Thats pretty scary. It has the head of and Alien, like the ones from "Mars Attacks" but on the scary alien head is the most terrifying black pirate eye patch. Then it has the body of a arms/fins of a shark then the rest of its body is that of a super scary pig !! The way it kills things is it stares at them for 2 mins and then the thing it is staring at head will blow up.
 

Minions

If I had all 800 of the minions, I would lay in my bed all day well they did everything for me. also everyone knows it only takes two days for minions 2 days to have their babies so I would take half of them and just get them to repopulate so I could have mimions for the rest of my life so they could do all the hard work and still party with me.
